In her novel White Oleander, Jane Fritch suggests that beauty is something to be used, "like a hammer or a key". Thats your assignment, Pisces. Find practical ways to make your beauty work for you. For example, invoke it to help you win friends and influence people. Put it into action to drum up new opportunities and hunt down provocative invitations. And don't tell me you possess insufficient beauty to accomplish these things. I guarantee you that you have more than enough. To understand why I'm so sure, you may have to shed some ugly definitions of beauty you've unconsciously absorbed from our warped culture. - Rob Brezsny of Free Will Astrology

The Girl

When I first got into bodywork it wasn’t because I was told I should be a massage therapist, honestly it was because Acupuncture School for a 19 year old was way to mature for me, but I wanted something in the healing field and Massage became that one.
I didn't understand Massage till I got Rolfed; from then on you couldn't make me do spa fluff work. I was all about the structural understanding of one's body mechanics.

How I met Yoga. I just said, “I need to be upside down. I want to twist from my belly and breath.” I didn't even know it was Yoga till a friend asked if she could do Yoga with me. Almost all my life transitions at some point involved with me being on a table letting go or on a mat twisting, bending, praying and just surrender to something greater than me.

I was just led to these things all unbeknownst to me as part of me my healing journey and it just all makes sense.

I have shared my mat for those who are just beginning or have yet to find a place that allows them to be who they are in the space they are in.
I always tell students, showing up everyday, off and on the mat, may not only inspire you but it inspires someone else. Create Inspiration! How sweet it will be, I promise.
